Golden Pan-Seared Dumplings with Colorful Vegetables in a Sweet Soy Ginger Glaze 🥰❤️😋
▶️Ingredients:
24 frozen or fresh vegetable potstickers
2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
2 cups green cabbage, thinly sliced
1 cup carrots, shredded
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
3 green onions, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
Salt and black pepper to taste
▶️Directions:
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Arrange the potstickers flat-side down and cook for 2–3 minutes until the bottoms are golden and crispy.
Carefully add a small splash of water, cover the skillet, and steam the potstickers for 3–4 minutes until fully cooked. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining oil. Toss in the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the sliced cabbage, shredded carrots, and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp and vibrant.
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water.
Return the crispy potstickers to the skillet and pour the sauce over the mixture.
Toss gently to coat everything in the glossy glaze and cook for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the top. Serve hot directly from the skillet for a cozy homemade presentation.
