Grandma’s Christmas Candy
Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
1 (12 oz) bag white chocolate chips
1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows
1 cup red and green gumdrops (or other chewy candy, chopped into small pieces)

1. Prepare the Baking Dish
Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal later.
Lightly grease the parchment with a bit of butter or non-stick spray.
2. Melt the Mixture
In a large, microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter, white chocolate chips, and mini marshmallows.
Microwave on high for 1 minute, then stir using a greased spatula.
Continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until everything is fully melted and smooth. Be careful not to overheat, as the white chocolate can scorch.
3. Cool Slightly & Add Candies

Allow the mixture to cool for about 1 minute—this prevents the gumdrops from melting when added.
Gently fold in the chopped red and green gumdrops until evenly distributed.
4. Transfer to the Baking Dish
Pour the candy mixture into the prepared dish.
Use the greased spatula to press and smooth it into an even layer.
5. Chill the Candy

Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or leave it overnight to fully set.
6. Cut and Store
Once the candy has set, lift it out of the dish using the parchment paper overhang.
Peel away the parchment and slice into small, bite-sized squares or rectangles.
Store the candy in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Chopping Gumdrops: Lightly coat your knife with non-stick spray or butter to prevent sticking while cutting the gumdrops.
Festive Variations: Substitute the gumdrops with crushed peppermint candies, holiday-colored sprinkles, or mini chocolate chips for a fun twist!
Enjoy this sweet, chewy, and colorful treat that’s sure to become a family favorite every Christmas!
